Responsibilities include:
" Researching investment opportunities in distressed & private equity investments
" Conducting industry & sector analysis
" Perform commercial and competitive analysis on specific investments
" Post investment after care including contributing to turnaround & transformation of investments
" Supporting management in conducting operational improvement on investments
" Working with management to review strategic orientations of the portfolio

We have promising opportunities for Junior business research analysts to join our private equity & distressed investments.


Salary - £30,000- 40,000 base plus transparent bonus structure.

The junior business research analyst will support the consultants in their analysis and research into FTSE 100 businesses to find appropriate candidates for the Private Equity backed companies within the Media, Technology, Digital and Consumer sectors.

Requirements:
· Identifying business executives (such as obtaining bios, phone and internet research to determine organisation structure) within the Private Equity sector.
· Capturing industry information and competitive intelligence (articles, analyst reports) within the Private Equity sector
· Industry, company, and executive research
· Database analysis & research into leading senior business executives
· Project management & supporting the business development strategy

The ideal junior business research analyst will have graduated with minimum grade of 2:1 from a Rusell Group University and have experience of 1 to 2 years' on a graduate scheme or have an internship or summer placement within a Private Equity or Professional Services Sector Corporation.

They will be able to analyse business information and feed this to the Consultants in a succinct manner.
